RESERVING YOUR SPOT
Every day at midnight (0:00) we open bookings for workouts on the same day of the following week.
If there are valid workout credits in your account, you can
book a spot for your friend or multiple friends. This will
guarantee you can workout next to each other. Your friend
only needs to check in with the front desk and sign a waiver
form upon arrival if it’s their first workout.
If a workout is full you can add your name to the waitlist when
you are logged into your account. If a spot becomes available,
you will receive an email alerting you of action required in your
account to secure the open spot. If you do not confirm your spot
quickly, we may call you to ask if we can release it to the next
person on the waitlist. We accept walk-ins should a spot become
available last minute.
If you need to cancel a reservation, you must do so more than
12 hours prior to the start of the workout by logging into your
Velocity account or calling the studio. If you cancel less than
12 hours prior to the beginning of the workout, or do not show up for
the workout, your credit will be deducted from your account as though
you attended. However, if you cancel less than 12 hours prior to the
beginning of workout, and someone from the waitlist ends up taking
the spot you’ve made available, your credit will be returned to
YOUR FIRST WORKOUT
We recommend new customers arrive 20 minutes before their
workout is scheduled to start. If you are not signed in 5 minutes before the
workout starts, your spot may be given away to someone on the waitlist.
All riders should be in their workout before it starts – when the doors
close, we won’t be able to let anyone into the workout late. If you are
running just a few minutes late, please call the studio for exceptions.
We recommend wearing workout gear that is comfortable
for you. Form fitting shorts or pants will ensure nothing
gets caught in the bikes or Xformers
For the safety and hygiene of all clients, we require Grip socks
to be worn in our Power workouts. ToeSox grip socks are most
technical for your practice with the five-toe design, which allow
your feet and toes to perform naturally. ToeSox can be
purchased at all of our studios.
For your Rides
All bikes require SPD clip-in shoes. Please feel free to bring your
own SPD compatible shoes, or we offer shoes at our studio
for free. Wearing clipped in shoes better engages leg muscles
and leads to a more powerful and smoother pedal stroke.
Even if you find this a bit scary at first, we promise after one workout you will
start to love the closer connection between your legs and the bike.
Ensure your body is hydrated to keep it happy throughout
the whole workout. We recommend you bring a bottle of water,
or buy one of our reusable water bottles that you can fill at
the studio. We also recommend a light snack 30 minutes before
your workout. Protein bars, Juices, and Coconut Waters
are available for purchase directly in the studios.
Velocity offers full body workouts, and like any new fitness routine,
you may want to check with a doctor before your first session. Your
safety is our first and foremost priority. Always ask a coach
or Velocity staff member if you have any questions or concerns,
and notify them of any pre-existing injuries or illnesses. Get familiar
with your equipment before your workout. If you’re taking one of our cycling
workouts, make sure to check that your bike adjustments are correct and
locked down tightly, and that your cycling shoes clip in securely. Get
familiar with your bike, especially the safety brake which is the red
resistance knob in the center when pressed down. Our coaches are
here to push you and give you a fun and energetic workout, but please
listen to your body and work at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Each locker room contains lockers with digital keypad locks to store all
of your belongings, no need to bring a lock. The showers are fully stocked
with bath products to keep you smelling fresh. You will receive one
small towel and one bath towel when you check in for your workout.
