Giuliana
Tell us about yourself
Swiss-Canadian and raised in a small town in Graubünden, I grew up surrounded by sport. With athletic parents who were also coaches, movement became second nature. I spent my youth as a competitive swimmer, and outside the pool I found freedom in the outdoors – running, hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, and chasing any adventure that got my heart racing. Music has always been my second heartbeat: singing with my sister, playing guitar, and dancing from ballet to hip-hop and afro gave rhythm to my every step. My energy stretches far beyond sport and music. Connection fuels me, whether it’s creating songs with my sister, sharing laughter with friends, or spending time with family. I’m always seeking new horizons: traveling the world, exploring cultures, and diving into new languages and skills. To me, life is about saying yes, daring to grow, and believing that everything is possible when you trust yourself. Shortly after I moved to Zurich to study law, I was ready for her next chapter and Velocity became my perfect balance. It’s the place where I can breathe, push limits, and combine my love for movement, music, and people into powerful, heart-driven coaching. My mission is simple but strong: to ignite belief, push you past limits, and make sure you leave every workout not just stronger, but grounded, empowered, and ready to take on any challenges life presents.
How did you discover Velocity?
Through my best friend! We’d always start our “Züri girl dates” with a ride or Power at Velocity to kick off the day. It quickly became our ritual – and my new passion.
Why Velocity?
The moment I first walked through the door, I could feel the warm energy. The workouts challenge you to your limit, leave you with sore muscles the next day, but fill you with pride and joy when you walk out. Starting at the front desk, I realized it wasn’t just the classes – it was also the people. Everyone here radiates positivity and passion, and Velocity became a space where I could not only workout, but connect, grow, and build friendships. That energy inspired me to take the next step and become a coach.
What was the most challenging part of the Power academy?
I quickly learned that coaching is far from easy. At first, I thought it was all about getting every word right, remembering every cue, and doing everything perfectly. But the truth is, while technique, timing, and energy are key, real coaching is about letting go of ‘perfect.’ It’s about reading the room, adapting to the moment, and creating a class that feels powerful and ‘perfect’ for everyone in it.
What will make your workouts unique?
Step into my Power workouts and you’ll find a space where you feel safe, seen, and free to let go of the outside world. It’s a workout for body, mind, and soul – one that pushes you to the edge while also recharging and reconnecting with yourself. You’ll leave stronger, sweatier, and prouder than when you walked in – with a smile that says you gave it your all.
What music will you play in your workouts?
Expect a powerful blend of remixes, house, afro beats, and hip-hop with the occasional surprise track to turn up the heat.
Fun fact about you?
My sister and I often sing together at gigs from weddings to company events. At one of our last weddings (the first of my close friends to get married), I managed to fall off my chair in the middle of the church, in a ball gown, with everyone watching. Well, what can you do? You just laugh, get back up, and keep singing, right?

Muriel
Tell us about yourself
With Italian and Polish roots, I was born and raised in Zug. My family has always been very active, so I tried almost every sport you could imagine, but endurance sports stuck with me the most. Balancing life as a law student, I find nothing more refreshing than a bike ride, a swim session, or a run along the lake after a long day at uni. And when I’m not in my running shoes or on my bike, you’ll probably find me out on the golf course.
How did you discover Velocity?
I was getting tired of classic strength training at the gym, so looking for a new challenge, I tried Power. The burn in muscles I didn’t even know I had got me hooked instantly.
Why Velocity?
I love pushing myself to the absolute limit. At Velocity I can do that surrounded by positive energy and great, inspiring people. The community is just like no other!
What was the most challenging part of the Power academy?
Learning how to multitask! I completely underestimated how many things you have to think of as a coach. But luckily, everything started to feel natural as time went by.
What will make your workouts unique?
My workouts bring the perfect mix of energy, challenge and good vibes. You’ll leave my workouts stronger, energized, and hooked for more!
What music will you play in your workouts?
A mix of house and pop but also some throwback tunes.
Fun fact about you?
Growing up, I used to be obsessed with Batman, and to this day I can quote almost every line of the movie “The Dark Knight”.
Join Muriel in Zug every Monday at 9:30 & 10:30 starting 22.09 and Tuesdays at 16:30 starting 16.09.

How did you discover Velocity?
Why Velocity?
For me, Velocity is more than just a workout – it’s a space where people come together, feel supported, and push themselves in a positive environment. I love that it combines intensity and fun with a real sense of community. That’s exactly how I like to coach: making people feel seen and motivated, while still challenging them.
What was the most challenging part of the Power academy?
The challenge was finding the perfect balance between precise, safe technique and high-intensity energy. Learning how to guide people to give their all while also staying mindful and controlled was tough – but it made me a better coach.
What will make your workouts unique?
I bring a mindful, multicultural approach to my classes. My focus is not only on strength and endurance but also on creating an environment where people feel safe, inspired, and seen. Expect intentional coaching, a strong sense of connection, and music that drives you forward.
What music will you play in your workouts?
House, Afrobeats, and Latin-inspired music – always with an electronic influence. My playlists are all about rhythm, flow, and energy that lifts the room.
Fun fact about you?
I grew up surrounded by tropical beaches in Costa Rica but funnily enough, I’m also a big fan of ice baths and cold exposure rituals here in Switzerland. From the Caribbean sun to alpine snow, I guess I’ve always loved embracing extremes!
Join Tarjan in Zug every Friday at 11:30, 12:30 & 14:00 starting 19.09.
Lea
Tell us about yourself
I’ve always been obsessed with movement and music. They’ve been my constant when other parts of my life weren’t. Born and raised in Switzerland, I’ve always loved pushing people and cheerleading them to go further than they thought possible. After years as a front desk girlie, I was looking for a new challenge and becoming a coach was the natural next step. I get to combine energy, discipline, and fun… and yes, I’ll make you work for it.
How did you discover Velocity?
I stumbled in, got my ass handed to me in the best way possible, and immediately thought: this is home.
Why Velocity?
It’s the energy. The people. The fact that every single workout feels like a party disguised as a workout. It’s a place where you can leave all your excuses at the door and just show up for yourself.
What was the most challenging part of the Power academy?
Not the sweat or sore muscles, but the multitasking. Coaching means leading, hyping, counting, correcting, and sweating all at the same time. It’s chaos, but it’s my kind of chaos.
What will make your workouts unique?
Savage coaching with no sugar-coating. You’ll hate me halfway through, but you’ll love me (and yourself) when it’s done.
What music will you play in your workouts?
House, techno, Afro beats, RnB, and sometimes a little rap – music that makes your body move even when your brain is screaming stop.
Fun fact about you?
I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries!
