Everything you need to know before our Outdoor Rides
By Casey – 04 May 2024
It’s time to grab the sunscreen and get outside. For a limited time only we’re bringing our OUTDOORS RIDES back. Grab your bike now and meet us on the pavement.
There are some things that are great to remember before taking our outdoor rides so you can make the most out of your outdoor ride experience. Check them out below!
BRING A WATER BOTTLE & STAY HYDRATED
As the temperature rises, it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated before and during the workout, so make sure you bring your full water bottle but if you need to refill inside the studio, don’t worry we’ve got you covered.
HEADPHONES
You have the option to adjust the volume level on the side of your headphones separately. In the unlikely event that you encounter difficulty hearing the coach or music, attempt to turn the headphones off and on again. If the issue persists, spare headphones are available in the studio. Just inform your coach or front desk manager, and they will provide replacements for you.
APPLY SUNSCREEN
We recommend you apply a generous coat of sunscreen, even if the ride is taking place towards the evening. We want you to feel the burn from the ride, not the sun.
RAIN POLICY
Since the weather can be unpredictable, we would like to give you some information on how we handle the rides in bad weather conditions. If the forecast calls for heavy rain the ride will likely be moved indoors. We are constantly monitoring the weather forecast and will try to inform the riders as early as possible in advance if there are any changes.
Important: the rides will take place outdoors if it’s cold or just a light drizzle but more about that below.
LAYERING CLOTHING FOR RAINY DAYS
As mentioned above, the rides still take place outside in cold and drizzling weather. Here are some layer tips to help you enjoy no matter the weather:
* Wear different layers from top/shirt over long sleeve to a windbreaker or rain jacket
* On colder days, don’t forget your gloves and possibly a thin beanie/headband (thin so you can still hear the music from headphones)
Finally, if it’s really warm out, wear shorts, a cap and sunscreen.
We hope that this information will help you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the studio directly.
And that is it! You’re all set, so book your bike, and bring the good vibes.
