Tell us about yourself
I was born and raised in Switzerland, but I have lived in Oslo for the last six years. I was running my yoga studio, where I was also teaching full time. Coming from the Banking and Finance world, this was a fun but difficult challenge to start with. During my time in Olso, I found my passion for health, nutrition, and self-development, which I turned into my professional career. I love everything around movement and sports indoors and outdoors, and I love to try new things. I try to spend all my vacation on my surfboards. Since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated by the water — its color, power, romance, and profundity. Its raw energy makes me feel connected to something larger than myself. These qualities have taught me some of my most important lessons in life about perspective, self-awareness, growth, and our place on this planet.
How did you discover Velocity?
Through my sister-in-law. When I moved back to Switzerland, one of the first things she said to me: „now you can finally come to Velocity, you’re going to love it!“
Why Velocity?
Moving back, I was a little lost and overwhelmed, but Velocity welcomed me with open arms. A community, friends, and a place where I know I get my ass kicked as soon as I step into the dark room.
What was the most challenging part of the Power Academy?
Switching my yoga hat to the power hat. The completely different music, the different cuing. I needed to forget everything I have learned so far and be open to something new. Since I do love challenges, I really welcomed this change.
What’s going to make your Power workouts unique?
People will leave my workouts knowing they are stronger than they thought. I will challenge everyone to leave their comfort zone and tap into their willpower. That’s where the magic happens.
What music will you play in your workouts?
I will definitely have a mixture of a little bit of everything, depending on my mood.
Fun fact about you?
I am really not good at anything that involves coordination. So if you see someone falling off a bike during a Velobeat workout, there is a high chance it’s me.
Catch Celine every Tuesday at 18:00 and 19:00 in Zug.
Jasmin
Why did you decide to become a Power coach?
I fell in love with it from the beginning. So I decided to take it to the next level and besides sharing my passion for Velobeat with my riders, also share my passion for Power – which I think it’s a perfect combination.
What surprised you the most during the Power Academy?
How much multitasking there needs to be as a power coach.
What makes your Power workouts unique?
The combination of a challenging workout with good vibes and motivating beats.
What music will you play in your workouts?
Electronic music, dance and pop.
Catch Jasmin every Tuesday at 9:15 and 11:30 in Zug, starting 22.03. And in Enge on Wednesdays at 17:30 and Fridays at 17:30 and 18:30.
Sanders
Why did you decide to become a Power coach?
I found the Xformer fascinating. I became curious to know more about it. Since I like the workout I thought I could share it with other people and help them achieve their fitness goals.
What surprised you the most during the Power Academy?
There really is a lot of information to retain in a short amount of time.
What makes your Power workouts unique?
It’s not just about going through the motions, it’s about educating people on how to properly engage each muscle in a power workout and how to apply what they’ve learned in their everyday life.
What music will you play in your workouts?
Mostly dance and electronic music.
Catch Sanders every Monday, starting 21.03, at 7:00 in Enge, every Wednesday at 18:00, and Thursday at 18:15 in Zug.
Silvia
Why did you decide to become a Power coach?
Becoming a power coach has been on my mind for almost a year. The combination of strength and resistance needed for this workout just suits my personality.
So I just grabbed this opportunity as soon as it arose!
What surprised you the most during the Power Academy?
How much pain can our body take when our brain is willing to embrace it!! And also realizing that the other power coaches doing the academy with me are machines…
What makes your Power workouts unique?
Nothing 🙂 All the Power coaches at Velocity are awesome. But what you will experience during my workouts is my sense of humor, my warm personality, and my absolute love for this discipline.
What music will you play in your workouts?
Pop music, house instrumental, and throwback songs every now and then (I am not that young anymore!) 🙂
