JAZMIN
Tell us about yourself
I moved to Switzerland in October 2022 after obtaining my degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Sports and movement have been a huge part of my life ever since I was a little girl. Coming from a dancer background, I discovered Pole Fitness in 2013 and have been teaching it since 2017. I participated in several competitions and am proud to have won a Junior World Champion title.
Apart from Pole and Power, I love weightlifting, yoga, and I’m also a stretching coach.
How did you discover Velocity?
I got rejected from a job so I felt a little disappointed, but the day after I saw a posting from Velocity. I knew immediately it was meant to be! Since I love teaching and helping others reach their fitness goals, it got me really excited right away.
Why Velocity?
The moment I stepped into the studio in Enge for my first workout I felt this calming and satisfying feeling like being at ‘home’. I also feel amazing after doing Power and I would love others to experience this feeling as well.
What was the most challenging part of the Power Academy?
I would say the most challenging part was to learn and get used to how much we have to talk and vocalize during the session in such a short time, since the exercises are only a few minutes long.
What’s going to make your Power workouts unique?
I aim to create a friendly and welcoming environment during my workouts with my presence and good music, but also keep it challenging so I can push you out of your comfort zone and help you grow.
What music will you play in your workouts?
Mostly pop, House, EDM, and some throwback remixes.
Fun fact about you?
I can hold the plank for 8 minutes. Yes, it’s a challenge! Join my workouts and I’ll help you gain that core strength 😉

CASEY
Tell us about yourself
I’m originally from the United States and moved to Zurich in April 2022 to be with my husband. Back in the US, I worked in marketing, but I’ve always had a passion for fitness. I grew up riding horses and continued to do so through college. After college, I was looking for new fitness challenges and found that I really loved group fitness, especially spinning, which is what brought me to Velocity. In March 2023, I started working at the front desk, and soon after, I took my first Power and immediately fell in love. I love how strong I feel after each workout, and I can’t wait to help you feel the same.
How did you discover Velocity?
Back in the US, I loved Soul Cycle so when I moved to Zurich I quickly started looking for a new place to take indoor cycling rides. After my first workout at Velocity, I was hooked!
Why Velocity?
Velocity has an incredible community from clients, to coaches, to front desk staff. I love that they offer many different types of concepts too, from Beat and Burn to Power. Every workout and every coach has their own unique style so there is something for everyone!
What was the most challenging part of the Power Academy?
There are so many things you need to pay attention to as a coach. For me, the most challenging thing was learning to multitask but also getting out of my head so I can bring my own unique style and personality to my workout.
What’s going to make your Power workouts unique?
I’m going to motivate you to push past your limit so you feel stronger and stronger every time you leave my workout. You’ll be looking forward to your next Power as soon as you leave the room!
What music will you play in your workouts?
Pop, electronic, and some hip hop mixed in from time to time.
Fun fact about you?
I competed on my school’s equestrian team in college.

I’m a fun and energetic individual. I was originally born in Switzerland but grew up in San Diego, California. From a young age, my heart has been firmly set on the world of sports, with more than a decade of dedication to the game of volleyball. I moved to Switzerland to play volleyball for one of Switzerland’s national leagues. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience and have finished my first-year master’s program in intelligence and security. My mission is one of empowerment; I ardently believe in facilitating individuals to reach their fullest potential. I’m incredibly motivated by seeing my clients get better with each session. I push them to go beyond their limits. My passion for fitness is what drives me, and I’m grateful to share that enthusiasm with those I coach.
How did you discover Velocity?
Upon my arrival in Switzerland, it was on the third day that I stumbled upon Velocity, a fitness revelation. My innate love for fitness led me to an online encounter with Velocity, and my initial foray into one of their Power workouts left an indelible mark. The allure of Power lies in its remarkable ability to have a full body high-intensity – low-impact workout without subjecting it to undue strain.
Why Velocity?
After a series of invigorating Power workouts, I was certain that I wanted to become a part of Velocity, for never before had I felt such an immediate sense of belonging and comfort within a fitness studio. This sense of belonging owes much to the unwavering passion exhibited by the coaches, which pervades their instruction and renders each session an exceptional experience. It is a place where I know I can walk in feeling low and depart with a radiant smile.
What was the most challenging part of the Power Academy?
Velocity’s ambiance is simply electrifying, its studio aesthetically pleasing, and its staff, coaches, and employees radiate genuine care. As I embarked on my coaching journey, the most formidable challenge lay in seamlessly blending my personality with precise instructional delivery, ensuring that both newcomers and regular clients comprehended the exercises effectively. Thanks to the dedicated support and guidance of Mal, Jasmin, and Francesca, who patiently nurtured our skills, provided unwavering support, and addressed our countless inquiries, I gained the confidence and enthusiasm necessary for effective coaching.
What’s going to make your Power workouts unique?
What sets my Power workout apart is the infusion of my lively choice of music, motivating clients to attain their peak performance. Drawing from my experience as an athlete and volleyball coach, I understand the significance of creating a safe and supportive workout environment while pushing oneself to the limit. My love for fitness unequivocally shines through in my Power sessions..
What music will you play in your workouts?
In the realm of my Power workouts, an eclectic array of music genres, from throwbacks to
Disco/Dance Pop, Techno, R&B, and even remixes, form the soundtrack.
Fun fact about you?
While my initial demeanor may suggest a degree of seriousness, I genuinely cherish moments of laughter and make it a point to infuse each session with a sense of enjoyment. My passions extend beyond the realm of fitness, with a deep and abiding love for swimming, whether the water temperature stands at a warm 29 degrees Celsius or a brisk 10 degrees Celsius – you can almost always find me taking a dip in a nearby lake. Beyond my commitment to fitness, I possess a notably creative side. I have a profound appreciation for artistic endeavors, including painting, photography, and various forms of arts and crafts.
