5 things you need to bring when you workout

Let’s take the guesswork out of preparing for your next workout. We all live busy lives. Having a checklist of what to bring just makes it that much easier to focus on your actual workout so you can reach your goals.
So let’s jump right in:
- A friend
What better way to stay motivated! When you exercise with a friend you’re more likely to encourage each other and to push a little harder. And let’s face it, working out together is fun. If you have someone you’d like to become your workout buddy, for the whole month of February you can bring a friend who hasn’t tried Velocity yet, for free. Book them in right on our website’s schedule. - A (reusable) water bottle
Staying hydrated before, during, and after your workout is key so the body can maintain its metabolism to burn calories. You’ll be able to refill your bottle at all Velocity studios or purchase one at the front desk. - Gym clothes
To make the most out of your workout, you have to be comfortable. Opt for things you know you feel good in, that are breathable and easy to move your body in (and badass, like ours). Don’t forget a change of underwear! - (Grip) Socks
No matter if you’re going for a Ride workout or a Power workout, socks are essential. While during the winter months it might not be something you can easily forget, it’s a completely different story during the summer, so just keep them in mind.
(If you’re doing a Power workout, make sure to bring your grip socks – they are both hygienic and ensure you don’t slip on the x-former) - Don’t forget to book
While we often have some spots left, it’s always best to book your workouts in advance. Head to the schedule and pick the workout, time, place, and coach that best suit your needs to make sure you stay motivated and eager to break a sweat.
Just a reminder: towels and spinning shoes are available at the front desk, no extra charge, so two things less to worry about. Plus we have Shampoo, Soap, Conditioner and Deodorant in every locker room.
